How much is it?

Axe Arena’s normal pricing is $35 + tax/person for our Group Event that last 2.5-3 hours, and $15 + tax/person for 1 hour of our Walk-in sessions.

What are the minimum and maximum group size for events?

The minimum size for Group Event at Axe Arena is 6. One Axe-man/woman (instructors) and one Arena (two targets) will be scheduled for groups with 6-12 participants. Two Axe-men/women (instructors) and two Arenas (four targets) will be scheduled for groups with 13-24 participants. For groups with 25 participants or more, please contact our location directly via phone (number) or email at contact@axearena.com . Our facility can host up to 72 participants at any given time. Please let us know if you need our help coordinating drinks/snacks, and any other special requests. However, no alcoholic beverages are allowed at this time. We will try our best to accommodate. There is no minimum requirement for walk-in sessions. Come throw some axes with us and meet other thrill-seeking sports enthusiast!

How do I pay?

Groups are required to pay the non-refundable booking prepayment on our booking website. These payments will apply toward the final amount collected at the location. We accept cash and credit cards at our location.

What should I do if I am not 100% sure about our group size?

No problem. Axe Arena has got your back! With our flexible Group Event booking policy, you just need to know the approximated amount of participants for your booking. Simply book for one arena if you are anticipating anywhere between 6-12 participants and book for two arenas if you are expecting 13-24 participants. Aside from the non-refundable booking prepayment paid on our booking website, all other payments are collected upon the completion of your events. However, the minimum amount required for each amount of arena(s) booked will be charged even if your group end up being less than the minimum. For example: $35/participant x 6 participants + tax - online prepayment will be collected when one Arena and one Axe-man/woman is booked even if less than 6 participants end up participating. $35/participant x 13 participants + tax - online prepayment will be collected when two Arenas and two Axe-men/women are booked even if less than 13 participants end up participating.

What are the hours of operations?

We accept Group Event bookings 7 days a week, by appointments only. Customers must book at least 3 days ahead using our booking website. For groups that are looking to book within 72 hours, please call our location directly to coordinate for your event. Walk-in hours are available in the after of the weekends and evenings of some weeknights. Please subscribe to us through (link) or follow our Instagram(link), Twitter(link), and/or Facebook(link) for walk-in hours as they may be subject to changes due to group event, holidays, and/or other special occasions.

Is this safe?!

Most definitely! At Axe Arena, safety is our absolute number one priority (followed closely by fun). We have our strict one Axe-man/woman to one Arena policy to ensure our participants’ safety. Your Axe-man/woman will also be your events’ host. Please follow his/her lead and enjoy yourselves! Safety instruction and property throwing techniques will be communicated and demonstrated by our Axe-man/woman.

This looks difficult. Is this suitable for children?

At Axe Arena, we do not have a minimum age policy. We welcome participants of all age and size as long as they can hold and throw our axes comfortably following and using our Axe-men/women’s instructions and techniques. It is not as difficult as it may look. Most participants will be able to grasp the techniques after a few tries. Just wait until you land your first axe, your face will say it all :) Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The child’s waiver must be completed by the parent or legal guardian.

What should I wear? Do I need to bring anything?

All participants at Axe Arena must wear closed-toe shoes. That’s the only thing that you need to prepare. We will provide everything else you need for axe throwing, including materials and axes. In fact, we currently require all participants to only use Axe Arena provided axes.

Do you sell food? Can we bring our own?

Axe Arena offers a variety of packaged snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. You are more than welcome to bring your own food. However, please remember to bring utensils as well if you need them. Currently, Axe Arena does not offer or allow alcoholic beverages on premise. We ask our participants to please do not bring any alcohol or arrive at the facility under significant influence. This may result in cancellation/rescheduling of the participants’ booking. Axe Arena reserves all rights to make this discretionary decision.

I like to come prepared. Do you guys follow a certain set of rules or guidelines?

Axe Arena is a proud member of the World Axe Throwing League (WATL) https://worldaxethrowingleague.com/axe-throwing-rules/ . We closely follow the latest WATL guidelines and suggestions. However, we encourage our Axe-men/women to innovate new games that we can enjoy with our participants and vice versa.

This is a sport, right? Do you guys have a league?

Yes, you bet! Axe throwing is not just a fun one-time event type of activity to us at Axe Arena. We set out the mission to raise awareness and promote axe throwing as a sport. Something came up and our group cannot make it. What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

We ask our participants to cancel at least 7 days ahead of their booking for prepayment refund. Bookings can be rescheduled with at least 72 hours advance notice. Bookings may not be canceled for refund or rescheduled within 72 hours of the bookings’ start time.
